Best Chance Network

Under separate grant funding resources through the Best Chance Network (BCN), the following free screenings are available: 

• Clinical breast exam
• Pelvic exam
• Pap smear
  
• Human papillomavirus (HPV) tests
  
• Mammogram
  
• Diagnostic testing if results are abnormal.
• Referrals to treatment
  

To qualify you must:

• Be a legal S.C. resident
• 21 to 64-years old (cervical cancer screening)
• 30 – 64 years old (breast cancer screenings)
  • Women younger than 40 who may have breast or cervical cancer symptoms may be screened if funding available
• Women with high family risk of breast or cervical cancer may be screened if funding available
• Meet certain income guidelines (at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level).
• Have no health insurance  OR
• Have high-deductible health insurance (> $1,000) AND/OR
  • diagnostic insurance coverage less than 100% OR
  • hospitalization coverage only.

These screening are unrelated to our other programs and must be applied for separately.
