Medication Assistance

Welvista is a non-profit mail order pharmacy for those in S.C. with no health insurance, under age 65, and who meet 250% of federal poverty guidelines.  Welvista receives donations from some of the top phamaceutical companies in the country.  However, they are limited to what is donated and in stock. AccessHealth Horry staff can help you navigate the eligibility criteria and application process as well as fax in your application.

For medications not found on the Welvista formulary, we suggest becoming comfortable with using the GoodRx website and phone app.  Many of our clients enroll in Welvista to obtain what they can for free there and use GoodRx coupons to pay the lowest price available for the rest of their medications.  Without a GoodRx coupon, the price you pay at a pharmacy can vary widely!
